Sunken pavers are the result of shifting soils or subsidence another your paving. For the most part, it is a natural and unavoidable process. To resolve the problem, you would need to raise the pavers in the affected area and replace or repair the base layer.

Wet-look sealers are a great way to restore the appearance of your pavers. If they have started to lose their luster, begin by hosing them down thoroughly to remove dirt and grime. If there is any algae or mold, scrub it off with a hard-bristled brush and a bleach solution. Rinse with a hose again and leave the pavers to dry for a day or two. Then apply a coat of wet-look sealer.

There may be times when you will need to replace the sand around your pavers. The sand is an important key to maintaining the strength of the paver installation. If any sand is removed by heavy weather or some other cause, it could result in pavers shifting and sliding against one another. If you notice that there is sand missing between the pavers, replace it as soon as possible.
